Trump Gold card will be launching in soon

U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said Wednesday that the Trump Gold Card, which makes it possible for any foreigner to buy a visa for $5 million, will be available online within weeks.

“The details of that will come soon after, but people can start to register. And all that will come over a matter of the next weeks — not month, weeks,” Lutnick said.

Copper prices may continue to rise

Copper is generally a good indicator because it’s used all over the economy — in factories, houses, electronics and streetlights, per Chris Berry, founder and president of House Mountain Partners.

“The next time you’re on an airplane at night, and you’re coming in for a landing, and you see any lights or anything like that, every single one of those lights is working because of the electrical conductivity of copper,” he said.

So, if the economy is growing, and we’re building more, we’ll need more copper.

    Gold up 1.7%

Futures are up 1.7% at $3,350.60 a troy ounce and on track for weekly gains of nearly 4%.

“Without a fundamental shift in U.S. fiscal policy, the implications of rising borrowing costs and widening fiscal deficits means the U.S. is on an unstable fiscal policy path, which could lead to heightened market volatility,” says Fawad Razaqzada, analyst at Forex.com.

    Peter Schiff talks Silver

Renowned economist and gold advocate Peter Schiff has issued a bold new call: silver is about to break out – and fast. In a tweet posted earlier today, Schiff highlighted that silver has outperformed gold for two consecutive days, closing at $33.40 and touching an intraday high of $33.50.

“Silver is the most underpriced hard asset on the planet. While gold protects wealth, silver could build it during the next financial reset.”

Texas proposes gold and silver-backed currencies to compete with fiat money

“Under the proposed law, the Texas Comptroller would issue gold and silver specie (coins) through the Texas Bullion Depository and also establish gold and silver transactional currency defined as ‘the representation of gold and silver specie and bullion held in the pooled depository account,’” wrote Mike Maharrey, Communications Director at the Tenth Amendment Center. “The Depository would be required to hold enough gold and silver to back 100 percent of the issued currency.”

If approved, the bills would enable “Holders of gold and silver specie and currency to use them as ‘legal tender in payment of debt,’ in the state of Texas,” he noted. “The gold and silver-backed currency would be electronically transferable to another person. Gold and silver-backed currency would be redeemable in specie or at the spot price of gold in U.S. dollars minus applicable fees.”
